My name is Theron. As a young boy I can remember wanting to know God. But like so many people I didn’t know for certain that he even existed. At the age of 25, I can remember for the first time saying to my best friend “I don’t know if I believe in God”. Science seemed assured in having all the answers, and the credibility of churches was constantly being eroded in dead spirituality and scandal.

A year later, in 1993, things began to change. Suddenly one day I determined in my heart that I was going to make a real attempt at reading the Bible. When I did, I became convicted that God had inspired it. For eight months I read every day, and prayed earnestly to know God’s truth as I read the word.

I was witnessed to in Victoria in February of 1994. I was told that I needed to be baptized and receive the Holy Spirit. The lady told me that the sign given was praying in an unknown language. I found this strange, but I knew also that I wouldn’t still be looking if I knew all the answers. This lady said miracles and healings could be expected and everything she told me was in the bible. The next Sunday I was baptized and, after praying, began to speak in a language I hadn’t learned. After this experience the bible became alive to me. I spent 14 months in Australia and New Zealand and heard and saw miracles of every sort and learned much about bible prophecy and doctrine.

These experiences and knowledge have affirmed the bible as absolutely true and correct and give me a peace of mind and joy I never had in my life before.
To see someone so dramatically transformed has been amazing
In 1998 my mother became born again at the age of 69 years. To see someone so dramatically transformed has been amazing to say the least. In 2002 mom was severely injured in a car accident. Her survival was doubtful, and the ability to walk again was almost unthinkable. Six weeks later she was walking, and even more amazing, everyone couldn’t believe the joy she had exhibited through it all.
Aunt Gertrude instantly healed at the age of 87 of shingles
In 2004, I was praying with my Aunt Gertrude in upstate New York over the phone. She received the Holy Spirit and was instantly healed at the age of 87 of shingles.
I praise the Lord for blessing me so mightily and can’t wait for his return.
