Joji                                          Auckland, New Zealand

Praise the Lord!!

Bula Vinaka everyone.

My name is Joji from the Auckland RCI, I was brought up in this assembly and was quite lucky that my parents were in the Lord before I was born. It has been 8 years now since I received the Holy Spirit and there’s nothing else greater that I can ever imagine with what this awesome God has done to me.

There’s nothing else greater

When I was growing up I used to hear that there is a God, He is coming soon and it is compulsory for a person to be born again of water and of the Spirit which it says in John 3:5. But I didn’t take it seriously not until the age of 11 than I realized that these things are true. So I started seeking for his Holy Spirit from that day.

We had a Sunday School and Rangers Rally at Sigatoka, Fiji where I used to stay and before we go to bed each night, we always gather around and had prayers and seekers meeting. (seeking for Holy Spirit) On that night I was really happy that I finally received the Holy Spirit and Speaking In other tongues.

I have had many injuries mostly from rugby games. Once, I broke my jaw during a rugby match in Fiji, 2 days after the incident I decided to go and see a doctor and he told me that my injury will take about two months to be healed. I was not eating well and was really frustrated about it.

On that afternoon we had our housemeeting (church meeting) at our home and I was reading a Bible verse from 1 Peter 5:7 which says  “Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you”. Before I go to bed that night, I sat down and then prayed for my injury and instead of 2 months which was told by the doctor, I was completely healed in 2 weeks. I couldn’t stop thanking the Lord and was really amazed about the miracle healing that He did.

I have had miracles and healings in my life and Family and when I get healed from sickness or injuries it makes me want to do more for the Lord.

I’m enjoying my walk with this Great God and I know that if I draw closer to him he will also draw close to me. I’m looking forward to his return and can’t wait to meet Him.

Amen
