As far as I can remember I had always been interested in God. I grew up in the Catholic church but I never felt the Lord`s presence there. When I was 14 years old my mother died which was extremely difficult for me to cope with. As a result of this tragedy I was diagnosed with schizophrenia shortly after.

At this point in my life a friend appeared who told me about Jesus. I felt a deep love from this person so I decided to go to my friend`s church. There I received the Holy Spirit in 1999 and a few days after I got baptized. However my life was far from being good. The church I was attending didn’t teach the Word of God properly and my state got worse and worse.
My state got worse and worse
Some day in autumn 2008 when I was going home by bus I met two ladies who were speaking English. This caught my attention, so I started talking to them. We met for a coffee a few days later and there they told me about RCI. I decided to go for a house meeting and I straight away felt safe in this place. I started attending their meetings regularly and I was encouraged to pray in tongues more. Nobody had told me to pray in tongues daily in the other churches I went to.
My life has completely changed
Since I am with RCI my life has completely changed. I started reading the Bible and finally I understand it.
I always dreamed of having a family and the Lord fulfilled this desire. I met my husband at church and we have got a little daughter now. Knowing that I can pray to the Lord when she is ill gives me great comfort.
Before I was walking in the Spirit I was emotionally unstable, chaotic and aggressive but the Lord has changed me. I feel really fulfilled in my life now.
