I have lived in Bendigo my whole life, I have always believed in God and thought I was doing what He wanted and I taught Sunday school at the Uniting Church for many years. I was first told about salvation at a nursing home where I worked, by Ruth.
I thought I was doing what He (God) wanted
I was just so excited about the things she showed me in the Bible, I found myself looking forward to going to work (how crazy is that), so I could hear more about the experience that I could have. I went to a meeting a couple of weeks later, where I
saw a group of just average, normal looking people of all ages, happy, smiling, greeting one another as they entered the hall.

The meeting I can’t remember a whole lot about, however I decided I wanted to be baptized, so I did and I received the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues, just as Ruth had shown me in the Bible. The peace that came over me was just surreal, I just knew things would be different and they have been.

My marriage to Wendy was restored and we have been married now 26 years, 24 of them I didn’t think I was going to see, but the Lord intervened. I’ve had the Lord bless our business ventures, I’ve had healings and find there is an absence of stress in my life and that makes for a happy and content existence.
