Hi my name is Amrita. First of all I would like to tell you that I was introduced to the Lord by my sister Kanta, who is now in Perth with her husband. She was already baptised before me, she used to try to tell me that she had a very good experience when she found the Lord, but for me this was like stories and I didn’t believe it. But when I experienced for myself then I knew how good it was.
Before I found the Lord I used to be depressed because of my personal, work, study, and family problems. Almost every small thing made me angry and stressed all the time.

In those hard times, David (from my sister’s church) helped me out and encouraged me to relieve my pain. I got baptised after this on the 13th February, 2011 and I was Spirit filled within 3 days and I spoke in tongues just like Kanta had told me happened to her.
The way I used to think and feel has been totally changed after receiving the Holy Spirit. Finally I understood that it was the Lord’s plan and now I feel like I am the happiest person in this world. I came to know what is real happiness, and the importance of having the Lord in my life.

Since then I have been on the path of the Lord and miracles are happening each day and each moment. Apart from the Lord changing my entire life my mum who is a diabetic back home in Nepal became very sick and was in hospital.
The doctor said my mum’s hand needed to be amputated
An infection in her hand became so bad that the doctor said her hand needed to be amputated, so David and Bronwyn here in Australia, called a pastor in Nepal and asked him to pray for my mum. So the pastor went to pray for the recovery of my mum.
Mum’s hand recovered but things got worse and
doctors did not expect her to live
To our relief and to the doctor’s surprise the doctors said the hand no longer needed to be amputated. My mum continued to be sick however and became worse and was moved to intensive care and was on a ventilator and the doctors did not expect her to live.
The pastor prayed again for my mum and
she was able to go home the next day
The Pastor went and prayed for her again and after 6 hours she was able to laugh and could go home the next day. Now even her diabetes has improved so much she no longer needs to take injections for it and she knows that the Lord has done something wonderful in her life. I was wordless about how the Lord had saved my mother from near death.

Also the Lord protected my brother around the same time when he had a terrible motorbike crash and the bike was smashed terribly into many pieces but nothing happened to him not even a minor injury.
